Basics of live ultimate Texas Hold’em

Poker Hands Chart

This version of Texas Hold’em is played the same way as the traditional game. You are dealt two cards face up and 5 community cards comprising of the Flop, the Turn, and the River. Your main aim is to create a higher-ranking hand than the dealer.

To kick off the game, you must make two bets, namely the Ante and the Blind. This version of the game has an additional bet known as the Play Bet. When you opt for this bet, you can raise as much as x3 and x4 your Ante Bet. You can only place this bet prior to the Flop. After the Flop, you can only raise by x2 and after the River x1.

What makes this great 5-card poker variant a most engaging poker game, is the fact that it can accommodate any number of poker players at the same time. It uses a single 52-card deck of cards which are shuffled after each round. Like Caribbean Stud Poker, this game is played against the dealer and not other players.

Rule of live ultimate Texas Hold’em

The game is played using a single deck of 52 cards which are shuffled after each game round. To kick off the game, you must place an Ante Bet and a Blind Bet of the same value. Once you make an Ante Bet, the Blind Bet is automatically placed. There is also the option of placing a Trips Bonus Bet, which pays out on a range of poker hands, especially if you manage to create at least a Three of a Kind.

Once you have made your initial bet, two cards are dealt to the player and another two to the dealer. The dealer’s cards are dealt face down while the player’s are dealt face up.

If you want to raise the Ante by x3 or x4, this is the time. Players also have the extra option of clicking on the Check option. If you want to raise, you can proceed to place the chip value on the Play spot. During this game round, you are only allowed to raise once. After this, there’s the Flop (first three community cards), the Turn (fourth community card) and the River (fifth and final community card). If by this point, the player hasn’t raised, he/she can raise the Ante x1. You also have the option of folding and forfeiting the Ante and Blind Bets.
