Yggdrasil has just announced a collaboration with Hamburg-based operator, Novoline, to give German players access to their library of acclaimed titles, including the Vikings series, Champion of the Underworld, and Valley of the Gods.

This agreement is the latest in a recent string of European commercial deals aimed at increasing Yggdrasil’s presence in other regulated markets. Alongside this German deal with Novoline, part of the Novomatic group, Yggdrasil has negotiated expansion deals with bet365 in Italy and Fruity Entertainment in Finland. They are even looking to advance into international markets with an agreement with BetArabia to distribute their games in Lebanon.

Similarly, Push Gaming has entered into a partnership with Grand Casino Baden in Switzerland to strengthen their foothold in the Swiss market and offer Swiss players fan favourites such as Razor Shark, Retro Tapes, and Big Bamboo. This is the studio’s second deal in Switzerland after their collaboration with Grand Casino Luzern in December 2023.

Push Gaming has initiated a progressive roll out of their titles on Grand Casino Baden’s platform, testing the waters before making more of their games available over the coming weeks.

Increasingly, studios are turning to foreign companies to create a pathway for them to enter new regulated markets. These partnerships with reputable operators are strategic, and beneficial to both parties.

Grand Casino Baden’s Chief Online Gaming Officer, Brian Christner, said: “Bringing Push Gaming’s high-quality content to our players is an exciting development for us. Its portfolio of games is renowned for its entertainment value and strong performance, and we believe it will be a significant draw for our audience. This collaboration strengthens our offering and reinforces our commitment to providing the best possible gaming experience to Swiss players.”

Both Novoline and Grand Casino Baden have high profiles in their respective countries, with the former even being the shirt sponsor of second division German football team F.C. Kaiserslautern. Push Gaming and Yggdrasil are relying on these companies’ impressive reputations to help deliver their games and improve their own standing in these markets.

We are likely to see many more of these kinds of deals taking place over the next few years, increasing the availability of popular titles across Europe and even further afield.
