The reels are split into two sets of 5 reels x 3 rows each. The Free Spins feature in Dragon Sisters comes as one of two re-spins, triggered by either dragon symbol on their respective set of reels. The Red Dragon Symbol appears in the higher portion of the screen and the Blue Dragon Symbol in the lower portion.

The Red Dragon (top screen) blows fire onto the lower screen, creating 3 wilds on the reel corresponding to the one where it appeared. A re-spin is triggered and the wilds stick on screen until the spin is over.

The Blue Dragon (bottom screen) blows blue fire onto the top portion of the screen, revealing up to 3 wilds in random positions. These also become sticky wilds and remain there until the spin is over.

If another Dragon Symbol is revealed on either the top or bottom screen, another re-spin is given and another wild will appear. Otherwise, wilds cannot appear on the screen during a re-spin.

On a thematic note, this fantasy game seems to draw inspiration from a central character in HBO’s top-grossing TV series Game of Thrones, based on George R. R. Martin’s modern classic novel collection A Song of Ice and Fire. The character we are referring to is clearly Daenerys Stormborn – the mother of dragons. The game’s twin dragon sisters – one representing light and another darkness – seem to be modelled based on Daenerys.

This theme of duality is not just thematic eye-candy. The game is designed in a way that makes use of it. The screen is divided into a top and bottom screen. Each one holds 5 reels by 3 rows, paying out on 25 bet lines. The Dark Sister and her Red Dragon feature in the top screen while the Sister of Light and her Blue Dragon appear in the lower set.
