It’s as ludicrous as it sounds, but it makes for a fantastic video slot theme.

They were a blessing in a lot of rounds that I played and formed part of some of the biggest wins I landed during my time with E-Force. The downside here is that they don’t have any value on their own, so they rely solely on combining with other symbols to deliver a payout.

Scatter symbol

Yet another video slot staple, E-Force’s scatter symbol is represented by none other than Dr Zeppelin himself. The evil, one-eyed fox character holds the key to free spins and you’ll have to land a minimum of three scatter symbols to access the bonus rounds. What’s more, the screen is filled with all kinds of animations, bringing the town of Easterville to life and setting up the confrontation between E-Force and Dr Zeppelin.
• Wild symbols – Sure, wild symbols are a staple video slot feature, but they’re usually only limited to swapping for pay symbols. This time round, wild symbols can step in for scatter symbols too, allowing you to trigger the bonus rounds more often.
• 10,000x max win – Potential is important in all video slots, and E-Force delivers with its 10,000x jackpot win. You’ll need quite a bit of luck by your side, but if you manage to build your win multiplier in free spins through wilds and scatters, you’ll be on your way to winning some great prizes.

Now for the not-so-good part.

• Lack of features – E-Force comes with a particularly limited set of features. Although it implements its mechanics well, the slot’s features are still very limited, and I would have loved to see more original features accompanying the brilliant presentation.

Conclusion

From the second I loaded up E-Force, I was blown away by the slot’s production quality. The theme is made all the more incredible by the wonderfully animated visuals. The whole setting is wonderfully silly, and Yggdrasil has proven once again that it is at the forefront of video slot presentation. But not all is well in the land of 80’s action bunnies. The slot suffers from a limited feature set, with very basic mechanics ultimately making the cut. It’s a real shame, as I would have loved to see mechanics that fit the slot’s look, mood, and tone.
