Fairy Tale bonus features
It’s always fun to play with features that work a bit differently from a traditional slot, and Fairy Tale’s features are definitely what makes it unique. It actually offers one of our favourite free spins round, which can see your prizes grow quite rapidly. The risk feature is also one to watch out for since it offers the chance to double your winnings on every spin.
It’s the diamond symbol that is most exciting in Fairy Tale since three or more of these on the reels will trigger the thrilling free spins round. There’s no set number of spins to win – it’s more a matter of spinning until you complete an action.
During the free spins round, underneath the reels, you’ll see doves locked away in cages. Each represents a different multiplier amount, ranging from 1x to 5x. During free spins, you’ll randomly be awarded keys which will open the cages one by one, in numerical order. Each time you open a new cage, you’ll be awarded that multiplier to your win.
Once you’ve received five keys and released all five doves, the free spins round will come to an end. You can’t retrigger extra spins during the round, but seeing that it can go on for a considerable time, this feature can prove quite rewarding.
With every win you achieve, you’ll have the chance to risk your prize, double or nothing. You’ll see one card facing up, and four face-down cards to choose from.
The idea is to click on one of the face-down cards in the hopes it will be higher than the card you can already see. If you win, you’ll double your prize, and if not you’ll lose the win for that round. You can keep picking cards until they’re all facing up, or if you guess incorrectly.
Interestingly, the diamond scatter symbol that triggers the free spins round is also the wild symbol and can substitute for others to complete paylines.
Fairy Tale jackpot
This slot doesn’t have a progressive jackpot, but you can achieve a maximum win of 50,000 coins if you successfully beat the Risk bonus feature.
RTP and volatility
Fairy Tale is a high volatility slot, so while you may not see frequent wins, you may have the possibility to strike it big when the wins do land. The return to player is average at 96%, making this a fantastic game for those who love high thrills and even higher prizes.
