Mochimon is a 7×7 grid Cluster Pays slot from the Pragmatic Play studio. It’s based on Sugar Rush, a gummy bear-filled release from the same developer, but inspired by soft-bodied Digimons that look like mochi, a sweet Japanese rice cake, hence the game’s name.

To win, you’ll need to land at least 5 identical creatures vertically or horizontally, triggering a chain of events if you’re lucky. These range from tumbling wins and the multiplier spots feature to free spins if at least 3 scatters hit the reels on the base spin.

Mochimon Bonus Features

The Multiplier Spots modifier is perhaps the most intriguing bonus feature in Mochimon. It works in tandem with the tumbling reels mechanics, allowing you to multiply your wins up to 128x throughout the play. Wilds are not included in the gameplay, but you still have a free spins bonus round to look forward to.

Scatters

The treasure chest is the game’s scatter. It can appear on all reels and trigger the bonus round with 10, 12, 15, 20 or 30 free spins if 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 identical symbols hit the screen on the same spin.

Tumble Feature

As a Cluster Pays slot, Mochimon runs on the tumbling reels mechanics. Each time you create a winning combination, the winning symbols explode, leaving enough space for new symbols to tumble down the gaps. This creates multiple winning possibilities in a single spin.

Multiplier Spots Feature

If you look closely at the playing grid, you’ll notice that each winning tumble leaves a spot pattern behind after it disappears from the grid. It’s barely visible in the base game, but another multiplier will appear on the hot spots if you hit a new winning combination on the same pattern. It starts at 2x and increases with each winning tumble up to 128x. In the base game, the multiplier spots remain activated until the end of the tumbling sequence.

Free Spins

During free spins, the multiplier spots also increase up to 128x, but they remain persistent throughout the bonus round. Plus, you can win an additional 10, 12, 15, 20 or 30 free spins if you can catch 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 scatters during the bonus game.

Buy Bonus

Location permitting, the bonus buy feature gives you access to the bonus round. The function activates at the cost of 100x your stake and gives you a random number of free spins between 10, 12, 15, 20 and 30.

Mochimon Jackpot

There aren’t any jackpots included in Mochimon’s cluster pays setup, but if you’re lucky enough, you can pick up a win of 5,000x your stake as a top reward.
