Agent of Hearts Review

This slot offers up some action in the base game as you collect Agent symbols to trigger 4 different modifiers, but it’s the unique approach to the free spins feature that has really grabbed our attention. To find out why exactly, read our full review now!

Agent of Hearts Bonus Features
You’ll be pleased to know that Agent of Hearts isn’t stingy when it comes to bonus features. There are 4 Agent Feature modifiers on offer during the base game, each with a 6 section meter, triggered by collecting enough of the corresponding symbols. They can help to trigger more cascades, create matching symbols or both.
Play’n GO has taken a pretty innovative approach when it comes to the slot’s free spins feature. Instead of grabbing multiple spins, you only get 1, known as the Queen’s Heart Free Spin. This single bonus spin triggers all the modifiers in order, plus some random wilds, capped off with a 3×3 shaped mega wild for some almighty potential rewards.
The slot’s action takes place on a 7×7 grid with payouts awarded when 5 or more matching symbols, or wilds, connect together to form a Cluster Pays win. Once a cluster is formed, the symbols will disappear from the grid, allowing new ones to cascade down and fill the gaps. This gives the potential to form multiple wins from a single paid spin.
Garish pink hearts appear on the grid as the wilds and help you to form winning clusters when they substitute for any paying symbols.
Random Hearts Wild Feature
Any non-winning spin can trigger the Random Hearts Wild feature where up to 7 wilds are added onto the slot’s grid in random positions. They will substitute for all other symbols except the keys to help boost your chance of forming a winning cluster.
You’ll see 4 special Agent meters to the left of the reels. When any of the 4 special Agent symbols contribute to a winning cluster, they’ll light up 1 space on their respective meter. Collecting 6 of any symbol, or instantly unlocking it when the White Rabbit randomly appears, will trigger that modifier after the current cascade as follows:
- The Dormouse – scurries down the grid and leaves a trail of cupcakes behind him which then explode to obliterate the current symbols or change them to another random symbol.
- The Caterpillar – blows up to 3 smoke trails across the grid, making any symbols underneath them disappear or morph into alternate symbols.
- The Cheshire Cat – all symbols below the giant cat grin will either disappear or be transformed into any symbol.
- The Mad Hatter – up to 9 hats materialise randomly on the grid, removing any adjacent symbols whilst also changing the symbols beneath them.
Golden keys represent the scatter symbol in Agent of Hearts, and you’ll need to collect 3 of them on a single paid spin or subsequent cascade to trigger the slot’s Queen’s Heart Free Spin feature.
Once you’ve triggered the Queen’s Heart Free Spin by collecting 3 key scatters and unlocking the giant heart at the top of the grid, you are awarded with a single free spin. This might appear mean at first, but during the spin all 4 Agent Features are playing out in sequence, followed by the Random Hearts Wild Feature and then finishing with a 3×2 sized mega wild hitting the grid.
There’s no way to retrigger this feature once it has started, but with so much going on, you could be in store for a very rewarding time once the Queen’s Heart is unlocked!
Agent of Hearts Jackpot
The Queen of Heart’s isn’t mad enough to go giving away anything close to a jackpot here, so you’ll have to settle for the slot’s 5,262x your bet max potential instead.
RTP and Volatility
Agent of Hearts is rated as highly volatile, so you’ll need to be prepared to wait it out for those bigger wins at times. The best RTP available for this slot is 96.25%, so be sure to check this before you play as some casinos might offer a lower rating.
