Ready to roll the dice to move around the board and work your way up through the exciting win ladder? Then read our slingo review to learn all about the gameplay.

How to Play Monopoly Slingo
First and foremost, choose your player profile carefully. It will determine how many rolls you get and also impact your odds and payouts, so don’t miss this bit. Once set, hitting the roll button will see you moving around the board, eliminating properties of the same colour and even winning instant cash. You’ll be fortunate to avoid jail, but luckily there’s an ‘get out of jail’ card available.
In theory, it’s the original Monopoly, but in the form of a Slingo game, plus you can win real cash here. This game’s goal is simple: complete slingos, move up the win ladder and have fun along the way. It can look confusing when you read the rules first, but it’s easy enough to play even for a slingo newbie. So let’s get started.
Joker Symbol
More often than not, you’ll land on the game’s joker symbol, and when you do, you’ll get to pick a card to help you complete a slingo. Contrary to most slingo games where a joker allows you to mark a number in a column directly above it, here the joker selects a random card from each property set and shuffles it. After you’ve chosen your card, you’ll move to the property you’ve picked.
Free Spins
You’ll start Monopoly Slingo with 7 or 8 rolls, or free spins if you like. Each time you roll a dice, you’ll move around the board, just like you would in the board game. Instead of regular bingo numbers, as is usual in many slingo games, you’ll be eliminating properties of the same colour.
There are 25 properties in total on the 5×5 grid, so when you roll a dice and land on a property, all instances of that property’s colour will then be eliminated from the grid. More so, all properties here act as multipliers and range between 2x to 10x your stake. If you collect all properties in a set, then a respective multiplier will be applied to all prizes on the win ladder.
Another surprise here is the 26th card which acts as a bonus card, and you’ll see it in the left bottom corner of your playing grid. Landing on this particular card awards an instant cash prize.
Just like in the world-over famous board game, in Monopoly Slingo, you can also land on special slot features like the lucrative Community Chest or the pesky Go to Jail card. Here’s what you get for landing on the specific features:
- Chance and Community Chest: randomised prizes/penalties include cash, a ‘get out of jail’ card or moving across the board with a possibility to end up in jail.
- Pass GO: adds cash to the Free Parking Square position, and if you’re lucky to land there, you can collect the accumulated money.
- Go to Jail: just like in the board game, you go to jail and stay there until you roll a double or win a ‘get out of jail’ card. Otherwise, you’ll be released after 3 rolls.
- Extra Rolls: If you roll a double, you’ll get an extra roll.
RTP and Payouts
The game has an RTP of 95.30% and four different volatility settings and max payout outcomes depending on the profile chosen, like so:
- Dog: low volatility and a 500x your stake max payout.
- Racing car: medium volatility and a 1,500x your stake max payout.
- Battleship: medium volatility and a 2,500x your stake max payout.
- T Rex: high volatility and a 4,000x your stake max payout.
