Rome: The Golden Age Bonus Features
There are three bonus features, but Rome: The Golden Age is all about growing your multipliers during the base game to having them later applied to your wins in the free spins round. Here’s how it all works.
Wilds
Wild logos substitute for all paying symbols, except scatters and pay 5x your stake for a cluster of 5. Unlike traditional wilds, they can be activated via the Golden Age symbol – a gold coin. When the Golden Age symbol lands, it leaves a frame behind. The frame will activate if the Golden Age symbol randomly turns into a Rome symbol.
On the next spin, the position with the Rome symbol turns into a wild symbol which consecutively turns all adjacent framed positions into wilds. The newly formed wilds will then transform the following adjacent symbols into wilds up to 5 times.
Scatters
Representing the Roman Empire flags, 3 or more scatters trigger the game’s free spins bonus round when they hit reels 2, 3 and 4 on a single spin.
Free Spins Multiplier
While in the base game, check out the free spins multiplier bar above the reels. The more points you collect during the base game, the more you’ll benefit from them in the free spins round. In short, up to a 1,000x multiplier could be added to your wins if you collect 200 points.
