With Super X, Pragmatic Play has created a nice little money-themed game for themselves, involving the mysterious X symbol as an enabler for some big wins. Visually, it doesn’t have that much going on and even lacks some artistry when it comes to the presentation of this 5×3 and 20-payline slot, but the trick here is in the actual gameplay. As usual, all symbols pay from left to right on adjacent reels, but the real wins don’t start coming in until you activate the innovative X multiplier feature during respins or free spins. Super X Bonus Features

It might look like Super X only has one bonus feature, but it actually has three of them – the respin feature, the free spins bonus round and Super Spin Ante Bet. Respins and free spins play out in the same way – that’s why it feels like there’s no distinction, but you’ll soon find out there’s a subtle difference between the two.

Wilds

A star is wild in Super X and will substitute for all paying symbols except scatters, Xs and digit icons. Wilds will only appear on reels 2, 3 and 4.

Scatters

Scatters, appearing as double dice symbols and showcasing special slot features, can only emerge on reels 1, 3, and 5. They don’t pay out any cash, but 3 or more of them can activate the free spins bonus round.

X Bet Respin Feature

Watch out for an X icon. If it hits 1 or more positions on reel 1, it will trigger the X Bet Respin feature, during which only blank and digit symbols from 0 to 9 can land on reels 2-5. After each spin, each row with an X symbol on reel 1 will create a bet multiplier by adding the digit symbols in view from left to right. So, if you’ve landed a double or even triple digit of 1, 0 and 0, it will come together to form a bet multiplier of 100x. Essentially, if you’re lucky enough, you could create a 4 digit multiplier on every row, adding up to the game’s max potential of 9,000x your stake.

Free Spins

Triggered with 3 or more scatters in the base game, the free spins round awards 5 free spins and functions in the same way as the X Bet Respin round. However, throughout the round you’ll have the X symbol active on all 3 positions of reel 1. If you happen to land blank symbols only on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5, you’ll be awarded an extra 3 free spins.

Super Spin Ante Bet

Finally, on every spin, you can have the Super Spin Ante Bet feature activated for each spin to play out like the respin feature. The cost of activating Ante Bet is 10x your original bet.
