The Bandit & the Baron Review

New from Just For The Win, The Bandit & the Baron is a Western-themed 5×5 reel and 25 payline slot featuring a lady bandit scatter and an expanding baron wild. It pays for 3-5 identical symbols appearing on adjacent reels from left to right and has an appealing max potential of 25,000x your stake achievable within the bonus round. Throughout the game, gold bars, piles of coins and bundles of cash act as the highest paying icons but in the hold & win feature, the most thrills will hail from the three special symbols. The Bandit & the Baron Bonus Features

Wilds can expand in the base game, but the bonus round can offer a whole new level of excitement in The Bandit & the Baron. With 13 locked positions blocking the potential wins during the bandit bonus feature, you’ll want to look out for cash, key and lady bandit upgrade symbols to help you reset the spin counter. There’s also a respin bonus feature and a bonus buy option, but the latter is only available to non-UK players.

Wilds can only appear in the base game, but once they hit the screen as 1×1 symbols, they’ll expand to fill the reel, providing you with more winning possibilities.

Scatters, appearing as 1×2 lady bandit symbols, can only land on reels 1, 3 and 5 in the base game. Whenever 2 symbols hit the reels at the same time, you’ll trigger the respin round.Whereas with 3 bandit symbols you can unlock the hold & win bonus round.

When triggered with 2 lady bandit symbols on reels 1, 3 or 5, the respin feature will spin the reel without the scatter, giving you a second chance at initiating the bonus round.

Bandit Bonus Round

After the lady bandit unlocks the bank vault, you’ll have 3 spins to collect as much cash as you can. But to access all the bounty, you’ll have to unlock the positions first. Luckily, each time you land a key, cash or an upgrade symbol, your spin counter will reset back to 3, giving you a streak of respins. In the bonus round, only 13 positions are unlocked; the rest will need unlocking with the key symbol. Each time the key symbol lands on an empty space, it will unlock a random locked position. If there’s a symbol stuck inside, the key will activate it too. The cash symbols here are sticky and award an instant prize of up to 25x. The upgrade symbol can multiply all cash symbols up to 10x.

The Bandit & the Baron Jackpot

There’s no jackpot feature added to The Bandit & the Baron slot, but you can still win big during the bonus feature – up to 25,000x your stake.

RTP and Volatility

Paired with a varying RTP, The Bandit & the Baron is a volatile affair, so check your key stats carefully. You’ll want to choose a site that offers the highest possible RTP of 96.09%.
