The online casino game screen is set against a backdrop of an antique treasure map. Unfortunately, we cannot make out much detail so our hopes of finding a treasure ourselves were dashed.

On the reels themselves, we can see some of John Hunter’s adventuring equipment and some of Da Vinci’s creation. Royal card suits make up the low-value range of symbols while the crossbows, backpacks and books are higher value.

John himself is the top paying symbol, rewarding with up to 32 times the initial stake, per payline.

Wilds

That famous fella Da Vinci himself acts as the game’s Wild symbol. He can appear on reels 2 to 4 and can substitute for any other symbol bar the Scatter.

The Scatter symbol is a cryptex – an amazing puzzle device that must be solved before it is opened. Scatters can only land on the three middle reels and when they do, the player will be randomly assigned one of the three available bonus features.

Da Vinci’s Treasure Free Spins

A batch of 12 free spins will be awarded at random as part of the bonus feature. On each turn, the multiplier factor will increase by x1, which means a pretty high multiplier level by the end of the free spins.

It is also possible to re-trigger free spins during the feature, up to a limit of 60 spins and a whopping x60 multiplier.

Prize Picker feature

The player will get a chance to choose one of three objects shown, each of which contains a cash prize of a different value.

Map Quest Feature

If this feature is triggered, the player is shown a treasure map. They then spin the wheel to determine how many spaces they can move along the map’s 23 sections.
