What does John have to say?
- Feature Board offers an innovative way to unlock game features.
- Spin-Out mechanic allows for the stacking of reel modifiers that can lead to some of the game’s most promising wins.
- The game’s presentation looks quite tacky, like a half-baked concept that didn’t really work out.
- The slot’s uneven math model chokes out any sort of potential.
Night Roller Slot Review
Red Tiger presents players with quite an unusual setup in Night Roller.
The slot’s theme merges Las Vegas with a monopoly-esque setup. The result is a mixed bag of sorts. While the vision is certainly unique, it comes across as being quite tacky, like something that is trying really hard at putting on a classy look.
But beyond questionable looks, what else does Night Roller offer players? Is this a diamond in the rough or just another cheesy Vegas-themed video slot? Read our full review below to find out.

Night Roller Bonus Features
Night Roller sticks to a conservative set of video slot features that are all linked to its core mechanic, the Feature Board.
Wild symbols feature in Night Roller, substituting themselves for any paying symbol that will create a winning combination. Yet as opposed to generic Wild symbols, the ones found in Night Roller aren’t available throughout the base game. Instead, they form part of the Feature Board and are only available when activated through the game’s core feature.
In Night Roller, the Dice symbol takes over as the game’s Scatter symbol. Rather than landing on the reels as a normal symbol would, the Dice symbol randomly appears on screen, taking over the entire board and rolling to reveal the number of steps that can be taken on the Feature Board.
As Night Roller’s core feature, the Feature Board is the key to unlocking all of the modifiers that the game has to offer. The board itself frames the slot’s reels, with a piggy bank symbol serving as the player’s marker. Steps around the board are unlocked through the Dice symbol, which reveals the amount of steps you can take whenever it lands. Different tiles on the board offer different reel modifiers, including the following:
- Life is Golden: Add random Wild symbols on every spin.
- Win Multipliers: x2, x3 and x5 multipliers that increase every win amount.
- Bombs Away: All low paying symbols are obliterated from the reels.
- Coin It: Coin tiles award instant prizes that can range between 0.1x to 3x the player’s stake.
Any activated modifiers remain active until the Feature Board is called into action once again and a new modifier is triggered.
Perhaps the most prized feature in Night Roller is Spin-Out. Activated through a tile on the Feature Board, this mechanic awards players with 10 Free Spins. Each bonus spin brings with it a guaranteed dice symbol, with stacking modifiers that remain active for the duration of free spins. Landing the piggy bank onto the Spin-Out tile during the bonus round will entitle players to yet another 5 Free Spins.
Night Roller Jackpot
There are no jackpots to be won in Night Roller.
RTP & Volatility
With a high volatility setting and a return to player rate of 95.68%, Night Roller doesn’t offer a very exciting math model. To add insult to injury, the slot also offers a considerably low max bet amount which kills an chance of obtaining any sizable wins.
