Dave Lame: Bad Magician Bonus Features
Dave Lame has no shortage of magic-laced bonus features up his sleeve. From a random disappearing act feature to 5 different
bonus rounds, you’ll be showered with free spins, win multipliers, respins and other special tricks.
The wild is just one of the magical symbols in Dave Lame: Bad Magician. It lands on all reels and substitutes for all other symbols, except scatters, to help you complete a potential winning combination.
Dave’s magic wands represent the scatter symbols and they’ll initiate the bonus picker game when they appear on reels 1, 3 and 5 in the base game.
Dave Lame’s Disappearing Act
Dave may be a lame magician, but he still knows how to create portals and magically replicate himself. In the case of such a random event during the base game, you’ll see Dave appear on both sides of the reels, awarding you 2-5 respins that pay both ways with wins on multiple lines added together.
Pick a Pot Feature
The real magic begins when you land 3 scatters within the main game. You’ll see 5 red cups with bonus features hidden underneath them. After the cups are shuffled, you’ll pick one to reveal the bonus round.
One thing to know about this feature is that the bonus rounds have a hierarchy to them. Ranking from lowest to highest paying, the bonus games range from Knife Throw, Rabbits Out of Dave’s Hat, Card Trick and Escapology Act to Sawing a Reel in Half. As long as you don’t pick the latter, you can gamble your current win up the ladder, but if you fail, you’ll drop down one position. If you fail on the Knife Throw gamble, you’ll be given a mystery award of between 10x to 15x your bet on average.
Pick the lowest paying Knife Throw bonus game, and in the place of the reels, you’ll have a wheel studded with 10 colourful balloons. Pick 3 and Dave will throw his knife at them to reveal multipliers of 2x, 3x, 5x, 8x, 10x, 20x, 30x or 50x.
With the Rabbits Out of Dave’s Hat bonus game, you’ll be awarded 6 free spins and see some of the symbols replaced with wilds.
The Card Trick feature also awards 6 free spins and a choice of 5 different multiplier cards ranging from 2x, 5x, 8x, up to 10x. If the chosen card lands on a free spin, it will double in value, plus all multiplier cards that land during this round will turn sticky. On top of that, look out for the joker symbol during this round. He can award an extra 1, 2 or 3 free spins and boost your multipliers.
Picking the Escapology Act during the bonus entry feature will see Dave chained up and holding his breath in a water tank. This round awards an unlimited free spins game with a new special symbol appearing as a water tap. Each time the tap shows up on reel 5, it will add an extra row to the bottom of the reels, an additional 10 paylines and boost the win multiplier.
Unlock the Sawing a Reel in Half bonus game to win 8 free spins and watch Dave cut the original reels into either 2, 3 or 4 separate reel grids. Any wilds that land on one of the reel sets during this round will transfer onto all other reels, while landing 3 bonus scatters awards you an extra 2 free spins.
Dave Lame: Bad Magician Jackpot
Dave’s hocus pocus tricks don’t extend as far as
jackpots, but his traditional magic abilities could still give you some good wins of up to 5,000x your stake.
