Heroes Hunt 2
Fantasma Games have meticulously improved upon the original Heroes Hunt, taking on feedback and applying it in a variety of interesting ways. Still, the slot’s cumbersome pace might feel too daunting for some players to endure.
- 20,000x Max Win
- 3 Free Spins modes
- Great, progressive gameplay structure
- Cumbersome gameplay loop.
After the original’s attempt at creating an RPG inspired video slot that gave players a feeling of progression, Relax Gaming and Fantasma Games look to improve the formula with Heroes Hunt 2!
The fantasy theme is back. This time round, the dragon and his hoard of treasures is replaced by a dreary castle that hosts Werewolves and Vampires. The presentation remains top notch, with gorgeous designs, fitting animations and an impeccable soundtrack.
But does this sequel manage to iron out the imperfections that held back the original? Is this the heroic video slot we truly deserve? Read our review below to find out now!

Fantasma Games does a brilliant job of merging RPG elements with video slot mechanics to create the beating heart of Heroes Hunt 2. The gameplay manages to create a sense of progression, with players levelling heroes and taking on the two bosses (werewolf & vampire) in the slot’s two free spins modes. The innovation here doesn’t lie with the features themselves, but rather in the way they’re weaved together to create a fresh experience.
Wild symbols come in a number of different iterations. Every time they land, they substitute themselves for any paying symbols that can form part of a winning combination. They can be found in expanding format with both the Warrior bonus as well as the Werewolf symbol.
There are 3 free spin bonuses in Heroes Hunt 2. The first, Werewolf Free Spins, can be triggered via the chest symbol that lands on reel 6. Whenever this lands, it can either level a locked hero character with 1 EXP (3 are needed to unlock) or trigger Werewolf Free Spins.
Alternatively, once all characters have been unlocked, the chest symbol stops dropping and is instead replaced with key symbols that land on any position. 3 of these are needed to open the door to the game’s main villain in Vampire Free Spins.
Werewolf Free Spins offer 10 non-re-triggerable Free Spins. During the bonus rounds, the Werewolf Wild symbol may land on reels 2-5, turning any adjacent hero symbols Wild as well.
The slot’s more intriguing Vampire Free Spins also offer 10 bonus rounds. The aim here is to remove 12 Vampire symbols using your Hero abilities. Every vampire symbol that gets removed awards an additional free spin and once all 12 have been removed, the vampire will finally be defeated. This leads to the final set of bonus rounds in Super Free Spins.
Super Free Spins offers players an additional 2 bonus rounds on a full 6×6 board. Only Wild and regular symbols land here and they all carry a x100 Win Multiplier that pays out whenever a winning combination is formed.
Once Vampire or Super Free Spins end, players must then pick a new character and play through the slot’s grind once more.
Players must pick a man character at the start of the game. Although this is the starting character, the other two can be unlocked during gameplay. Each character comes with their own unique game modifier. These modifiers are triggered whenever an active character lands their respective symbol on the reels.
- Wizard – The Explosion feature is activated when the explosion symbol lands, removing itself, non-winning pay symbols and blocker tiles. This has an area of effect of either two 2×2 tiles or one 3×3 section. All vacant spots are then filled in with 1 random pay symbol.
- Warrior – The Expanding Wild feature is triggered by the sword symbol, which turns its respective reel completely wild. The feature removes all symbols on the reel and replaces them with new wilds that carry a multiplier between 2x and 6x. An additional 1×1 wild replaces a symbol on another random position.
- Archer – The Re-spin feature comes courtesy of the arrow symbol. It removes itself and between 4-9 random non-win symbols or blockers. New symbol drop into the vacant positions, with a Win Multiplier that is determined by the number of symbols that get removed.
There is no jackpot feature in Heroes Hunt 2.
