Rolling in Gold Bonus Features
The Rolling in the Gold video slot has a nice little bonus feature in the base game thanks to the Mystery Symbols which can align to form some solid wins. However, it’s the free spins round where things get explosive.
Starting with the Gold Spins, your nuggets can soon add up to a respectable total, but triggering the Diamond Spins gives you some superb multipliers that can potentially give you your own gold rush.
The wild symbol is represented, rather appropriately, by a stick of dynamite and substitutes for all symbols apart from scatters. It also helps to play a part in activating the Gold Spins feature, but more on that in a moment.
Shiny golden nuggets show up as the scatters in the Rolling in Gold slot. They play their part in triggering the Gold Spins feature too, as you’ll soon see.
Mystery Symbols feature
A bulging barrel of TNT acts as the mystery symbol which can land anywhere across the reels. However many land on a spin, they will all transform into the exact same symbol to boost your winning chances in the base game.
The Gold Spins feature is triggered when dynamite wilds land on reels 1 and 2, and a gold nugget scatter appears on reel 3. If these combine, then this free spins bonus round is played out on a new 4×4 grid made up of blank spaces, diamond symbols and golden nuggets.
The round begins with 3 spins, and rather than the reels spinning in the usual way, each tile space spins individually. Any golden nuggets landing will have a cash value attached and will lock in place. Anytime this happens, the spin total is reset to 3. Once your spins have run dry, the nugget values are tallied up and awarded as the total round prize.
During the Gold Spins feature, you have the potential to take things to the next level by collecting 3 diamond symbols and triggering the Diamond Spins feature. The feature begins once your Gold Spins have finished.
This round is limited to just 3 spins but has the added bonus of a fresh multiplier for each spin. The space to the left of the grid will spin to reveal a 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x or 10x multiplier which is then applied to the total value of the diamond symbols landing on each spin. Despite being a short round, it has the potential to multiply into some significant wins.
Rolling in Gold Jackpot
You can dig all you like but you won’t find any jackpots in the Rolling in Gold slot right now. However, the game’s potential 50,000x your stake win shouldn’t be passed by either.
