African Spirit bonus features

You cannot miss the stunning visual design that has gone into African Spirit. Each symbol is crisp and colourful, adding to the overall atmosphere of the game.

The game is set in what appears to be a kind of wooden shack. Judging by the spooky faces engraved in the sides, we’re willing to bet it belongs to a shaman or witch doctor. The fires on either side of the reels kind of give it away a bit.

By way of symbols, we see two masks – red and yellow – with the former being the highest value symbol of the lot. The middle of the paytable is occupied by a carved wooden monkey and a rhino symbol. Five card suit symbols make up the low value symbols.

Wilds

The fierce leopard acts as the Wild symbol in this game. It can substitute for any other symbol except the Scatter and it can only appear on reels 2 to 5. When it appears in conjunction with the spear symbol, a little bonus magic happens. More on that in a minute.

The leopard has another trick up its spotty sleeve. Completely at random during the main game, a single Wild leopard can lash out, causing between 4 and 8 nearby symbols to turn Wild. This could add up to some significant winnings!

African Spirit Re-Spins

When the Spear symbol and a leopard Wild land on the same spin, a leopard hunt begins! The leopard Wild expands to cover the whole reel and a re-spin is awarded, during which the Wild remains locked in its place.

Players can land up to three Expanding Wild leopard symbols in a single re-spin so fingers crossed from plenty of Wilds!

African Spirit Free Spins

The Scatter is a glowing blue animal skull symbol. To trigger the free spins feature, Scatters must land on reels 1, 3 and 5 simultaneously.

The number of free spins is selected at random and ranges between 6 and 10 rounds. Once the free spins are activated, the player is presented with 3 vases. They must choose one of the three to reveal which bonus will be applied to their free spins.
