Disappointingly, Play’n Go’s answer to Christmas is the Xmas Magic slot and it’s not the jolliest thing we’ve ever seen. It’s a very vanilla approach to the theme and there aren’t any innovative features to reel you in. While there is a lucrative free spins round, it’s nothing we haven’t seen before. Xmas Magic Bonus features

We were hoping the Xmas Magic bonus features would make up for the lack of imagination in the theme, but unfortunately that’s not the case. In fact the Xmas Magic features appear to be almost an exact replica of Play’n Go’s Happy Halloween slot. In any case, the features that are present can be quite lucrative, and we’ll go through them in detail below.

Wilds

During the base game, the golden gift box wild symbol can appear on reels two to five to substitute for all symbols except scatters. During the free spins round, the wild can also appear stacked, giving you even more chances to win.

Scatter symbol

Santa Claus is the scatter symbol in this slot, and three or more of him on the first three reels will trigger the free spins round.

Free Spins
